Trim the wooden wick to about 1/4 inch before every burn and remove any trimmings. Light the wick and, on the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the vessel for an even pool. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, and stop once about 1/4 inch of wax remains. Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended. After 48 hours of total burn time, plant the seed-paper label to grow something new.
