Trim the wooden wick before each burn. On the first burn, let the candle burn 2 to 3 hours, until the melted wax reaches the edge of the jar, to prevent tunneling. Keep the candle within sight while lit, away from drafts and vibrations, and out of reach of children and pets. Never burn on or near anything flammable. About 1/2 inch of wax is left at the bottom by design to keep the wick clip from overheating—stop burning at that point. Net weight 7.49 oz, with an approximate burn time of 35 to 40 hours.
