Your Field griddle comes pre-seasoned with organic grapeseed oil, ready to use. Set it over medium heat and preheat for about 5 minutes so it heats evenly before adding oil or food. Its flat, low-rimmed surface is ideal for pancakes, tortillas, grilled cheese, eggs, and searing. Cook with it regularly to keep building its natural non-stick seasoning, and limit acidic foods (tomatoes, citrus, wine, vinegar) that can wear seasoning down. To clean, brush or rinse off residue (a bit of dish soap is okay), use a chain-mail scrubber on any stuck-on spots, dry completely, then wipe a thin layer of seasoning oil over the surface before storing.
